October 2010 Suggestions
For the month of October, should we focus on Category:Characters in Star Fox: Assault, Category:Characters in Star Fox Command, Category:Characters in Star Fox 64 or something else. [Tacopill|(talk)] 11:17, 12 September 2010 (PDT).
- My suggestion is to go with Star Fox 64. Every major character in it appears in another game, so it would be like making the framework for other character categories. The following unsigned comment was made byTW at 10:46, 12 September 2010
- I'd be able to contribute to 64, considering that I own the game and have all the electronics ready for adding material. Right now all I'm doing is trimming TW's Command work into a more encyclopedic tone and fixing up a few things that are related to the 64 game(besides patrolling duties). - Sounds good. In order to help chart our progress, i am proposing the following goals for us. Please tell me what you think:
- Of the (currently) 14 articles,
- Bring all of them up to stub-level standards
- Bring 7 of them up to decent-level standards
- Bring 3 of them up to good-level standards
- Bring 1 of them up to featured-level standards
- Form a team of reviewers to officially certify an article as "good"....and maybe "decent".... yep... definitely "decent" as well. [Tacopill|(talk)] 07:17, 13 September 2010 (PDT).

- Thinking more about it, it might be more realistic to have those goals over the last quarter (Oct - Dec) instead of trying to cram them into one month. October 2010 Stuff to Do
October is quickly approaching (it starts Friday!) and i am excited about getting our collaboration done. To help us along, these are the smaller, more achievable, goals I am proposing. Please help, in whatever way you can and choose, in doing this.
- Place {{Responsible-Box}} on the respective discussion pages of each of the characters. For the parameters, insert the following:
- {{Character-start-level v2.0}} to mark it as a Start-level, Character page.
- Place in any task you think that the page needs help with. See Talk:Fox McCloud for an example. I use three as a sample number, but have as few or many as you like.
- help bring the articles up to stub-level standards. This includes:
- Helping resolve any current discussions still going on
- Making sure all transcluded templates have their respective documentation up to date, clear and understandable.
- Make sure the sections follow a logical order, and are consistent from character to character.
- Identify sentences that need to be sourced by a citation.
- Make sure the article focuses on the events the character is involved in, influences or is influenced by.
